| Rare brown and gold aventurine Murano art glass vase by Carlo Scarpa for Venini. Measures approximately 4 inches tall and 3 inches wide. In very good condition with no problems. 2 line acid stamp to base, which is the rarest of the stamps: "probably the first signature of the company since it could be found mostly on "soffiati" or non-decorated lightblown objects, the main production of 1925. It can rarely be found on pieces from the 1930's, and was no longer in use during the 1940s. It is acid stencilled"-Mark Heiremans, Art Glass From Murano 1910-1970. | ||
