| Few pieces of Murano glass could be comparable to this incredible work of art with intricacy we have rarely seen in all our years of following Murano art. We have seen three of these in our lifetime and passed on the other two due to damage. This vintage mid century Murano glass musician is set in front of a piano, seated on a stool with French horn located nearby. Song book is open and bottle of red sitting on top the piano next to a yellow candle holder. Red bullicante glass located next to bottle. Base is a thick gold aventurine square block. The musician's clothes and leggings are wonderful. Even note the shoes, and peddles on the piano. What detail! It is a very heavy piece of art glass. Measures approximately 13 inches wide and 10 inches tall. Unmarked. Likely by Barovier or Barbini or other mid century master nonetheless. Has had professional repair to one arm. | ||
