This Asian figurine is one of the most lovely figurines I have seen. The glass workmanship and colors are out of this world and composed of some very complex and colorful murrines. This is one of a matching pair so please see the other figurine. Both are signed Cenedese Murano and have the blue Cenedese foil label. This piece measures approximately 10 inches tall. Very hard to find vintage Murano art glass bowl by Dino Martens. Circa 1954 this technique is published on page 107 of Marc Heiremans Dino Martens. It is the result of two techniques that were formerly introduced. One technique is the well-known Oriente, while the other consists of mould blowing of a colourless form covered with gold foil.
