This is the same series of bowl as I have listed in item 460597. It is clearly a fine technical piece of glass. It has a polished pontil as pictured. It is in excellent condition with no damage. It measures 5 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide. Unmarked.
This is an important vintage pitcher made by Barovier in a technique entitled Barbarico. It is published in many Murano books and is one of the most important pieces in mid century Murano glass. This piece has been boxed up for decades and shows almost no wear, including to the base, see how fresh the label is? In almost mint conditon with no chips, cracks or damage. Second of two matching vintage Dino Martens Murano art glass vases in "a mace" technique, which means with spots in Italian. This piece measures 18 3/4 inches tall and 7 inches wide. In very good condition, less one small bruise on the thick flat part of the base, internal and can not be felt.
