This lovely vintage Murano art glass bird was created with a technique called mezza filigrana, circa 1950 by the Italian glass master Dino Martens. The canne is composed of pairs of white, aqua, light green and a rusty red, along with gold aventurina base, beak, feet, and crown. The piece has one flaw in the tail feathers, a repair has been made to seal a crack to the feathers, hard to notice. It measures 10 inches tall.

Very large green satino Murano art glass lidded decanter by Carlo Moretti. Measures 17 inches tall and is in perfect condition, retains two of the four felt pieces to the base and the places where the other two pieces were still has some glue residue as seen in the last pictures. These pieces are pretty hard to find. Unmarked.
